Yageo proves its high quality by receiving IATF 16949 again for chip resistors

 

Yageo Corporation received another IATF16949 certification from DNV.GL for chip resistor management systems in May, after the MLCC factory has been certified in Jan. IATF 16949 is the latest automotive manufacturing standard.

 

Yageo’s automotive grade chip resistor production facilities had been certified to the previous automotive industry standard TS 16949:2009 for many years. Receiving the latest IATF16949 standard (which was published by IATF in 2016) proves that Yageo’s quality and production procedures not only meet the requirements of its customers and stakeholders, but also the much more rigorous IATF16949 standard, which was established to ensure automotive safety and security for the latest automotive technology.

 

All production teams in Yageo pursue continual improvement, emphasize defect prevention and promote reduction of variation and waste in the supply chain.
